I was going to post this in services but I am not sure how many people would be interested in this kind of thing. Here is my idea:

Alot of farmers often sell their decent - but not top quality equipment to the merchant. For example I find a gold max composite bow, +14% dmg hexed. Armor +4, 7/10 sundering. I know I could go to Ascalon and sell this for say 1 to 5k.

For alot of people though, we know we could have made more money farming elsewhere in the time it takes to sell that item - or they do not enjoy that aspect of the game.

Likewise many players enjoy the trading side of the game and prefer to sit and sell items in towns and chat to people.

I'm proposing to start a free service to 'match' players with each other. I.e. match a supplier with a seller.

Of course I am aware this system could be abused - 'sellers' taking items and not giving the 'supplier' the agreed amount upon selling, people dodging their suppliers for money they owe, etc. Though I am also aware there are many responsible people looking to increase their 'buissiness ventures' and would have the sense to see opportunity for establishing regular trade with people. guidelines would have to be set (these are very rough atm):

Both players would have to agree upon the times/types of payment e.g. the supplier accepts x amount of gold for an item from the seller, the seller may then sell that item for the amount he wishes. Or the supplier states he wants to sell an item for x amount of gold, then when the seller - sells that item they simply 50/50, 40/60 (whichever way) etc. Or even a more relaxed 'get what you can for it. Pay me in a week'.

I think this could really work for everyone. Farmers and sellers can make more money than just selling to the merchant like they were, Lower to mid level players wanting to get the grip of trading could gain alot of experience - and have a constant stream of items to sell. Or again; people who just enjoy the trading side would have an easy way to gain items to sell.

The service could also nearly run itself; people could leave their in game names. Followed by wether they want to buy or sell. How often they play maybe and any other relevant details.

However I would be moderating this myself to make sure one supplier is'nt monopolising all of the sellers. E.g One supplier has 7 different people selling for him whilst another person has been waiting a week to be matched with a seller. Likewise I would do all I can to make sure one seller is not monopolising all of the best equipment people are farming.

I want to know how many of you are interested in the possability of this service being set up, wether you would be interested in being a supplier or a seller etc so I can get a good idea. Any other suggestions, ideas, comments, drawbacks or anything else relevant

well that kinda sounds exactly what this site forums does already there is a buy section and a sell section and a highend section note that alot of people should put things in huigh end but they use regular sell and the sell is way over used as you post something and in 5 minutes its 3 pages in and has no chance from there but basicly the fourms are for your reason
